In a previous blog, we talked about how to restore luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floors that had begun to look dirty or yellow over time. The culprit was residue left behind by cleaning products. Over time, this residue builds up and becomes a film that attracts and traps dirt to it. Not only does this look bad, but it can also lead to safety issues. So now that the floor is looking great, how do you keep it looking that way?
Daily cleaning with H2Orange2 is easy to accomplish. We've got a wall chart for you to download for easy reference with complete information, but here are the steps:
YOU'LL NEED
In the front compartment of a dual-compartment bucket, dispense EnvirOx H2Orange2 HyperConcentrate 112 Light Duty Green® dilution. Fill the second compartment with clean cold water.
2. MOPPING
With a mop, begin mopping the floor with EnvirOx H2Orange2 HyperConcentrate 112 Light Duty Green dilution. Make sure mopping is done in the direction of the floor grain and in an “S” motion with a light touch.
3. REPEAT
After mopping a 6’ x 10’ (60 sq. ft.) area, rinse the mop in the clean water compartment & wring out. Rewet mop with EnvirOx H2Orange2 Hyper-Concentrate 112 Light Duty Green dilution and wring out. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the entire floor has been mopped.
4. REFILL
If the cleaning solution section of the mop bucket becomes empty, dump out remaining contents in both sections and refresh each compartment appropriately
5. AIR DRY
Let the floor air dry. The floor should be visibly dry and dry to the touch within 5-10 minutes.
