This is the worst flu season we’ve had in a decade. And, according to acting CDC director Anne Schuchat, it’s unknown whether it’s peaked yet, meaning there could be several more weeks left1. In a previous blog, we talked about how to protect cleaning staff from getting the flu. This time we’d like to talk about what you can do to fight back against the flu.
EPA-Registered Flu Fighter
H2Orange2 Hyper-Concentrate 112 is EPA registered to kill Influenza A2/Japan. It has demonstrated effectiveness against Influenza A2/Japan and is expected to inactivate all influenza A viruses including Pandemic 2009 H1N1 formerly called swine flu.
Easy Training Means Ease of Mind
One key to this is making sure you hit high touchpoint surfaces with the Heavy Duty (red bottle) solution. The available wall charts that are a part of the Absolute Cleaning System show these surfaces clearly in red. There are wall charts for a variety of different rooms. High touchpoint surfaces include:
1. Just apply solution liberally to pre-cleaned hard surfaces.
2. Allow the surface to remain wet for 5 minutes.
3. Either allow to air dry or wipe dry to remove excess liquid.
